New Web-based software provides access control, photo ID badging, and Ethernet-enabled integrated door controller (eIDC) management.
Infinias (Fishers, IN, USA) announced the availability of Intelli-M Access, a new web-based access control software product. Intelli-M Access allows users to create and manage data, view events and alarms, generate reports, and monitor the status of devices using a common Web browser interface. Intelli-M Access employs a service-oriented architecture (SOA) built on a .NET 3.5 framework, which enables it to scale access control from a single door upwards to hundreds of doors at multiple sites.
Mr. Wayne Jared, president and CEO of Infinias said, “The launch of Intelli-M Access reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with simple, scalable and secure products designed to meet their current and future needs.”
Initially, Infinias acquired the Intelli-M electronic access product line from Pelco (Clovis, CA, USA) in a deal which included intellectual property, assets, and products in development. Infinias is expected to maintain integration with Pelco video security products. Pelco’s decision to spin-off the Intelli-M electronic access control product lines stems from Pelco’s desire to focus on their core video products business.
The Intelli-M product line consists of the eIDC, an Ethernet-enabled integrated door controller, which is one of the first PoE (power over Ethernet) door controllers introduced to the security market; and Supervisor Plus, a full-featured scalable security management software that integrates access control, intrusion detection, photo badging, and digital video.
